During this presentation, we will explore being prepared for what may be on the other side of the fence or door and give tips to aid you in being properly prepared for animal abuse, neglect, and cruelty cases. This course will cover several key elements to a successful investigation that will focus on using critical thinking skills and your state laws and locality’s ordinances to full effect. We will give tips to utilize resources available to your agency and working with other agencies and teach documentation from beginning to end and focus on pre-search warrant issues, including the ability to articulate probable cause and that a crime has been or is being committed.
