- There is a security checkpoint at the entrance — tell the guards you're visiting the Urban Institute and they'll direct you down the driveway to 500 L'Enfant Plaza

Enter at District Square (look for the fountain). Located between Diament and Grazie Grazie. Security will be downstairs to guide you up to the 12th floor.
From Urban Institute (~10 min walk)
- Exit Urban Institute and head south on 9th Street SW (back toward the street level)
- Continue south on 9th Street, crossing D Street SW
- Turn right on Water Street SW, heading toward The Wharf
- Turn left on 7th Street SW
- Turn right on District Square SW — look for the fountain; that's your entrance
- Security will direct you to the elevator up to the 12th floor
From Hyatt House Wharf (~5 min walk)
- Exit the hotel and head north on 7th Street SW
- Turn left on District Square SW — look for the fountain; that's your entrance
