Information about the position:

The Office of the Attorney General of Guam seeks licensed attorneys with various degrees of experience who are dynamic and self-starters to join the Toughest Law Enforcers in the Pacific. This is the premier law firm for Guam U.S.A. Positions are immediately available and include reasonable airfare for attorneys who are graduates of any ABA-accredited law school and are members of any bar in the United States and its territories. Opportunities are available in General Crimes (Prosecution), Civil (Litigation & Solicitor), Family, Child Support Enforcement and Consumer Protection divisions.

Typical qualifications:
  • Graduation from an American Bar Association accredited law school
  • Possession of a current license to practice law in a state or territory of the United States
  • Current Certificate of Good Standing (no older than 30 days from the date of application

Applicants will be evaluated based on their total Attorney experience. Upon determination of the appropriate Attorney level, all applicants will be notified in writing and placed on an eligibility list.

Compensation:

Annual salary is commensurate with experience. For this fiscal year, attorneys’ salaries are increased by 6%. Also, prosecuting attorneys are entitled to an additional 15%.
