As part of the MacArthur Foundation’s Safety and Justice Challenge, APA is pleased to host the Ninth Prosecutorial Leadership Institute in-person on June 10-11, 2021 in Asheville, North Carolina.
This Leadership Institute will focus on Disproportionate Minority Victimization. Participants will exchange information on this growing concern and share strategic approaches they are utilizing to address this challenging issue that threatens criminal justice reform. Multiple stakeholders from the host jurisdiction of Buncombe County will highlight their efforts to address disproportionate minority victimization.
All attendees are required to register so that we have your updated contact information. An accurate attendance number will also allow us to provide ample socially-distanced seating and supplies such as masks and sanitizer for a safe environment.
DATE: June 10-11, 2021 (The meeting will being on Thurs, 6/10 at 8:00 am and conclude on Fri, 6/11 at 12:30 pm.)

APA has funding for one SJC prosecutor representative from each Implementation Site and will cover travel for those individuals. Strategic Ally and Innovation Site representatives and other registrants may contact the hotel directly or email ursula.donofrio@APAinc.org to secure the group rate of $159/night (non-govt), plus applicable state and local taxes (currently 13%) or the $120 government rate (with govt ID), based on availability.
