Law enforcement, prosecutors and academia are now beginning to understand the connection between violent crime and other forms of abuse. By focusing on these other forms of violence and their victims, prosecutors and their allied criminal justice partners can help reduce and prevent violent crime within our communities. The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys focuses on these precursor forms of violence in order to reduce future family violence and violent crime.
