Animal Cruelty and Animal Fighting
By identifying precursor crimes, such as animal cruelty or animal fighting, and ensuring adequate adjudication of such cases, our criminal justice system can reduce the development of further family violence or violent offenders.
Animal Welfare Listserv
APA's Animal Welfare listserv was created to provide a National Technical Assistance Network in the area of animal cruelty and fighting prosecution and problem solving for animal welfare issues. The Listserv allows you to connect with other prosecutors and professionals in the criminal justice and animal welfare fields. The Animal Welfare Listserv provides a forum and exchange for ideas relating to animal rights and protection advocacy and animal cruelty and fighting prosecution efforts.
New subscribers should send an email with their name, e-mail address, the organization they are with and contact information to David.LaBahn@apainc.org with the message "Animal Welfare Listserv" in the subject line of the email.
