Santa Fe Police Target Top Repeat Offenders of Property Crimes
SANTA FE - Police are out in full force and so far it looks like cops in Santa Fe are winning the war against home and auto burglars. Since Monday police have been taking suspected burglars off the streets.  In the past four days, police have arrested 12 suspects on the city's top offender list. They are also sending 10 arrest warrants to the courts to go after more.  Police say many of these suspects are repeat offenders and are accused of more than one burglary. However hunting down the suspects is not the only tactic being used. Officers are patrolling specific neighborhoods looking for crime. This week they caught three home burglars in the act.
